Who is GreenPan?

‘GreenPan is the trusted go-to brand for non-toxic, easy to clean and easy to use pots and pans. Never releasing any harmful fumes or persistent pollutants, we pride ourselves on being free of PFOA, PFAS, lead and cadmium.’

GreenPan was created by two Belgian school friends after they discovered that traditional non-stick pans release toxins when overheated. They wanted to create a healthier alternative and so GreenPan was born.

Here are a few ecofacts for you…

  • GreenPan uses upcycled aluminium and stainless steel whenever possible.
  • 60% less CO2 is emitted during the curing phase of the production of the coating they use.
  • The pans have an energy saving induction base.

Why Choose GreenPan?

Healthy eating is not a new concept, however being more aware of the products we use to cook our food is. In a typical day, we are subjected to a whole mix of chemicals from cleaning products to foods that have been sprayed with pesticides.

Ongoing research has been looking into the link between the rise in health problems and hormone-disrupting chemicals. By choosing cooking products that are healthier for you, you are on the right step to reducing the number of chemicals in your home.
