Our son recently turned 5 and for his birthday we had a Superhero Party at our local leisure centre. Today I thought I’d share the decorations we used, the food and the party games we played.
I made the invites myself on my computer and then printed them off on photo paper.
Superhero Party Table Decorations
I bought the plates on Amazon. As well as the plates you can also buy the Yum style cups and napkins.
With my ‘thrifty head’ on I decided to decorate the cups myself so I bought some cheap value white cups, £1 for a pack of 50, and then printed off and cut out pop art comic images and stuck them on.
I kept the table decorations simple and went for yellow table cloths with big pop art comic signs that I also printed off and cut out myself.
I’m ashamed to say that we really cheated with the food this year (not normally my style) and just went for standard party food. It was just too much to deal with straight after Christmas.
Meet the Baddies Game
We only had one party game as we had a massive bouncy castle and the kiddies spent most of their time on there. The game was called ‘Shoot The Baddies’ and I made it myself by printing off pictures of baddies and sticking them onto a big bit of flat wood.
Judging by the birthday boys face I think he enjoyed his day…
