I’m currently in the process of switching from disposable sanitary pads to reusable ones. If you scroll to the bottom of this post you’ll find links to my experiences so far. As I got on so well testing my first reusable night time pad I decided to try some daytime pads as well.

To start off my switching to reusable cloth pads rather than disposable journey I opted to try a night pad first. I thought this would be the best way to trial one without having to wear it out anywhere in case I didn’t get on with it.

In case you don’t already know this week is Zero Waste Week. This is my 2nd year of joining in and it always gets me thinking about how we can reduce, reuse and also save money. This week I have started saving up all of our vegetable peelings and storing them in the freezer. My plan is to make homemade vegetable stock with them.
