If you follow me on Instagram then you will already know that we are having a frozen party at the end of the week for our daughters 4th birthday.

Thrifty Frozen Party

I’ve had great fun planning the party so far but one thing I have noticed is that if you have a party with a theme that is popular at the time it costs twice as much as a normal party. To try and cut the cost down I have had to get my thrifty head on when it comes to the decorating.

As Lj was opening all of her presents today I was, as always, disgusted by the amount of packaging that comes with every item. It all just seems so unnecessary! That was until I suddenly noticed the potential of all of the lovely glossy printed cardboard.

So there I was this afternoon ,after all the presents had been unwrapped ,digging around in the black bin liner pulling out all of the Frozen packaging I could find. I cut out anything that I thought would be useful and I now plan to use it in my decorating. I’m not quite sure where yet but I know I will find a place for it somewhere. Watch this space!
