One of the great things about moving to a new area is that you have lots of new places to discover. It also means that you don’t have to travel far for your next holiday. This weekend we went on a mini-break and we were only 27 miles from home but quite frankly we could of been anywhere in the country.

As well as my ‘trying to live a simpler life mission’ I have also been looking into switching all of the beauty products we use for natural and organic products. I hate the amount of chemicals that our skin is exposed to on a daily basis, from shampoos to washing powders. This Easter holidays we were invited along to Beverley Holidays in Paignton for a mini break. This gave us something to look forward to and an opportunity to spend some time together as a family.
Today I thought I would share our experience with you.Read More »Beverley Holidays Review – Mini Break in Paignton

Unlike her older brother who’s sole aim is to please, she relishes in the fact that she is being awkward and the more awkward she can be the better. I’d like to say it’s a phase and she’ll grow out of it but she has been this way since she was a baby.

A few weeks ago I was having a really bad day! You know one of those where everything that could possibly go wrong did go wrong. To top it off I then received some rather nasty comments on my YouTube channel which I know is not uncommon and is one of the hazards of the job of being a blogger but that doesn’t make it any easier. Anyway following a day of crap I sent out the following tweet on Twitter…Read More »Aztec Spa in Torquay Review

My first starter home wasn’t what most would call a ‘conventional’ place to live. It was actually a wooden cabin that my Father and Grandad built.
Compass has this blog project going on called Starter Stories. Compass is a real estate platform out of NYC that is interested in the stories of how people make their first house into a home. The quirks, the renovations, and the unique experiences.Read More »My Starter Home Story
