Back when my blog focused more on thrifty living one of the most popular subjects was how to make extra money from home. It was a subject I focused on a lot after our daughter was born. Having two kiddies at home meant that I wasn’t able to return to work.
I needed to find ways to make money from home so I could work around the children. I tried all sorts of things including selling things we no longer needed.
Completing online surveys, using apps which you can collect points on that could then be exchanged for cash. The list when on.
Finally, I discovered blogging and 8 years later it has become my full-time job and as they say, the rest is history.
I was recently introduced to a new way to make money from home by renting out your stuff. You can do this through a company called Fat Lama. I thought I’d share some more information with you about how it works.

How Much Can I Make?
The answer to that depends on what it is that you are renting, how much you charge for renting it out and how often someone wants to rent it.
Fat Lama has a handy blog post called Rent Your Stuff This Many Times To Make Your Money Back which includes this infographic so you can get an idea of the money you can make back form your items.
